Happy news: I'm very happy right now, overall.  My emotions are radiating positive thoughts.  This is due in part to my lovely friends, my awesome roommate, with whom I have shared countless hours of laughter, my amazing boyfriend, who lets me feel comfortable with who I am and what I'm aspiring to be, and my family, who even from far away, are there supporting me.  I'm enjoying myself and school, for the most part, and everything seems to be working out right.  Jazz is amazing, and there's lots of stuff for me to do right now, because Buddy Defranco is coming to play with our jazz band, and I'll get to meet him, and talk to him.  I'm just ne

All right!  I am about to drop my math class.  I've been wanting to pretty  much since the beginning of the semester, but my advisor convinced me to stick it out until now.  But I just got a bunch of quizzes and homework back yesterday and I did poorly on all except one, where I had extensive help and some serious extended deadlines.  He said if that was the case, to just go ahead and drop it, and take it as an online course this summer.  Which is exactly what I wanted to do all along.  So now, instead of the 18.5 credit hours I was taking before, I have 3 less....making 15.5.  Yay, math.  That class was a bear, let me tell you.  But hey!  No

Wow, ok.  My friend Paul wanted to show me an entry of his on here, and I couldn't find it, so I made an account.  I've heard a lot of good things about this site, but just never got around to doing anything about it.  Well, later rather than sooner, here I am.  But better late than never, I suppose.  It's late, and my roommate is trying to sleep, so I'm going to cut it short, but I hope everybody enjoys my stuff as much as I'm sure I'll enjoy yours! ~MardiFevrier
